Happy New Year!
As Executive Director of Abandoned Animal Rescue, I want to personally thank you for your interest in AAR during 2020 – the weirdest year we’ve ever experienced since our founding in 2002! AAR’s supporters helped us to partially overcome the financial challenge of having to cancel several important fundraisers.
Because of the support we received Noel and Nog are recovering from the parvo virus – fatal to many puppies (including their brother Noah). They’ve spent a long week in emergency on IVs and feeding tubes. Both are now in foster care and should be adoptable in a few weeks. We couldn’t have afforded this care without you! You can follow their and other pets’ stories on AAR’s Facebook page (aartexas).
We hope in 2021 you will be an active supporter of AAR’s effort to make a difference for the pets in our communities. And be assured that because AAR is an all-volunteer organization every dollar you donate is used to support the animals in our care. I am always available to answer any questions about AAR’s finances and operations.
Have a safe, healthy, and wonderful holiday,
Karen Pitcock

YEAR-END TAX & GIVING INFO
- Per IRS regulations, if you plan to give a year-end gift by check, it must be postmarked by December 31, 2020. If the envelope is post-marked 2021, then we must count it as a 2021 donation – even if the check is dated 2020.
